Production Manager
Role Type : Full Time, Permanent
We’re seeking an experienced Live Events Production Manager to join our growing team based at our new site in London Bridge.
We have an extensive and loyal client base (some of our clients have been with us for over 30 years) who depend on us for innovative, reliable and above all exciting event delivery. Continuing this growth is key to the role.
The Role:
Plan and execute corporate events at the highest level.
Present detailed technical pitches to clients
Maintain and grow client relationships
Engage with ConferenceCast operational staff to plan resource allocation
Liaise with venue staff and other stakeholders
Develop a detailed project plan and maintain project scope and budget.
The Candidate
Ideally you will have an ability to fluently convey complex technical details and their effects on outcomes. You should also have experience in all aspects of technical event production, including:
Sets, staging and lighting with a natural gift for harnessing these elements to create imaginative new concepts
Familiarity with filming and post production
Hybrid event experience including scheduling and configuring on a variety of streaming platforms.
Experience of Vectorworks
As well as a real passion for AV technology, exceptional customer communications skills are a must.

Video Technician
Role Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary: According to experience + overtime, company pension and phone.
Location: Bermondsey, London (with travel required to client venues locally and overseas)
ConferenceCast is a provider of specialist audio visual services at conferences and other live events, with roots that go back over 60 years. We’ve stayed ahead with continual investment in the latest technology, and continually exceeding the technical expectations of our many long-standing clients.
As part of our expansion we’re seeking an additional full time Video Technician keen to develop their career further in the world of live events.
For this role we’re looking for demonstrable experience with these key areas of technology:
Matrix switching (Analogue Way and Barco) with multi-output including PiPs
Live streaming (ideally with a range of platforms from high end bespoke and Zoom Event/Webinar to mainstream socials like YouTube, FB Live etc.
Large-venue projection, projection mapping and edge blending
Cameras (field and studio types from Canon, Sony and BirdDog PTZ)
PowerPoint, Keynote, Playback Pro
Duties of the role:
Managing crew to support with load in and rig of equipment at client venues, testing all circuits and signal paths.
Operating the equipment on rehearsal and show days, ensuring adherence to the client brief. On smaller shows, liaising directly with them; larger shows will include a production manager through whom client contact is lead.
The role ultimately is about consistently exceeding customer expectations with superior technical delivery.
You’ll need to be a smart, polished individual with keen eye for detail, confidence communicating with clients on site and a calm head under pressure.
We serve a broad range of brands who rely on us to deliver their requirements to exacting standards in the UK and abroad, so a full driving license and availability for travel is also needed.
You may have a broadcast or live events background (or even both) so familiar with SMPTE and CTS standards, the interoperability of industry-leading hardware and software, and some awareness of the related technologies – that could be sound, lighting or IT used at events.

We’re looking for additional freelancers to join our register. We’re selective and this has served us well – we can count in decades the time some freelancers have been with us. Some work exclusively for us during the peak event seasons, some have been our permanent employees over the years. All are masters of their technical discipline.
If you are a freelancer in the UK and would like to join our register, email us with your CV. Please tell us what your technical disciplines are – ultimately we want to know not just that you’re experienced within a particular discipline, but what makes and models, in what sort of environment and over what period of time. We will ask you to come to us to to test your skills (and we will pay you standard day rates for your time) to ensure absolute confidence with our equipment.
